ECOSYSTEM

Positive growth.

Nature, in the common sense, refers to essences unchanged by man; space, the air, the river, the leaf. Art is applied to the mixture of his will with the same things, as in a house, a canal, a statue, a picture.

But his operations taken together are so insignificant, a little chipping, baking, patching, and washing, that in an impression so grand as that of the world on the human mind, they do not vary the result.

The sun setting through a dense forest.
Wind turbines standing on a grassy plain, against a blue sky.
The sun shining over a ridge leading down into the shore. In the distance, a car drives down a road.

Undoubtedly we have no questions to ask which are unanswerable. We must trust the perfection of the creation so far, as to believe that whatever curiosity the order of things has awakened in our minds, the order of things can satisfy. Every man’s condition is a solution in hieroglyphic to those inquiries he would put.

NNL Chairman Promises Improved Second Stanza Of The Season

NNL Chairman Promises Improved Second Stanza of the Season

The Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), George Aluo, has assured stakeholders that the league’s management is committed to delivering a smoother and more competitive second stanza of the season.

Speaking on Friday in Abuja at the 2025 Next Level Scouting event, held at the Turf Arena, Aluo emphasized the league’s dedication to maintaining high standards. The scouting event, organized in partnership with USYAK Academy, drew over 10 international scouts eager to discover emerging football talents.

Aluo acknowledged the success of the first stanza but warned that the second phase would be tougher due to increased competition and desperation among clubs.

“We know the second stanza will be more difficult because desperation sets in. That’s why we need to closely monitor matches, ensuring officiating remains as fair and transparent as it was in the first phase. Clubs that deserve to win should win, whether playing at home or away.”

He also highlighted the league’s broadcast plans and infrastructure upgrades:

“Like in the first stanza, all our matches will be live on television and streaming platforms. We also want to improve match venues—some pitches are not up to standard. Clubs have until the 28th of this month to upgrade their pitches or relocate to better venues because we want matches played in TV-friendly stadiums.”

Aluo praised referees for their efforts in ensuring fair officiating and acknowledged the growing enthusiasm of fans, which he said is bringing NNL crowds close to those of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Regarding the NNL Super 8, Aluo confirmed that the venue would be announced before the league concludes.

He also expressed gratitude to the media for their role in promoting the league, assuring fans of an exciting and competitive second stanza as teams fight for promotion, survival, and a spot in the Super 8.
